Birds of Prey at Your Wedding
Create a magical experience at your wedding for you and your guests. SweetHawk Falconry offers the opportunity to include our stunning birds of prey at your wedding location, creating memorable moments for you and your attendees. You can choose from a selection of our beautiful birds (2-4) to appear at your event for up to 3 hours.

Our trained professionals will ensure that both the birds and your guests are comfortable and safe throughout the experience. From elegant falcons to striking owls, each bird will add a unique touch to your special day.

Vicki Gardner, a CA state-licensed general-class falconer, will feature your meet & greet presentations. During the reception or cocktail hour, Vicki and assistant will mingle with your guests, sharing the unique stories of the birds, answering guests’ questions, and explaining the roles of these birds in falconry and conservation. This interaction fulfills the educational requirements set by the US Fish and Wildlife Service, ensuring an enriching experience for your guests while promoting awareness of avian conservation efforts.
OUR SERVICES
Weddings: Let us greet your guests at the entrance as they take their seats and/or walk down the aisle to stand at the front with your bridal party. Our trained birds offer a unique and enchanting experience that enhances the ambiance of your special day. Please note, however, that we do not provide ring bearer services with our birds at this time.
Receptions: We will conduct a meet & greet presentation style with your guests. This format allows individuals to approach us and our birds as we answer their questions and share the birds’ stories with them one-on-one. We do require a stationed area for bird breaks in between mingling with your guests.
Booking Your Special Day
Upon receiving your registration form, we will draft a Wedding Falconer Contract for your review. We offer a complimentary 30-minute consultation at our facilities, allowing you to meet our birds and discuss your wedding wishes in detail. To secure your date, a $150 non-refundable deposit is required. The remaining balance must be settled 30 days prior to your wedding date.
Cancellation Policy:
We require written notice at least 14 days prior to your date to receive a full refund minus the non-refundable deposit. Cancellations after 14 days will receive a 50% refund of the final payment minus non-refundable deposit. You may reschedule free of charge. This policy also applies if we need to cancel your contract due to extreme bad weather or natural disasters that would make it unsafe for us and the birds to travel.
Bird Safety policy: Our birds are wild creatures, not pets. To ensure a pleasant experience for both the birds and guests, quietness and a slow approach are essential. Safety instructions will be provided during the presentation. Breaks will be taken as determined by our birds. Guests are welcome to take photos, selfies, and videos of the birds. All proceeds support the care of our birds and future educational programs.
OUR PRICES: Duration options: 1-3 hours
2 birds of your choice & 2 falconers: $500 per hour, plus travel fees. Price includes us coming briefly to the rehearsal to see where we will be stationed and make any last minute needs/changes for your wedding day. Falconers will dress in all black attire unless other attire is requested.

Additional bird & falconer: $150 per bird/per hour

Travel Fee (round trip to and from your location) is a flat rate calculated based on the city where your venue is located. Below are the following cities we currently service. We are not able to travel to any locations beyond these listed at this time.
