All presentations and classes are taught by Vicki Gardner. She has been a state licensed falconer in California since 2019. Vicki homeschooled her daughter, Kendall, for seven years and is a dedicated volunteer with the Audubon Society's raptor education program, "Eyes in the Sky," at the Santa Barbara Museum of Natural History.

Her mission focuses on inspiring and cultivating a love for raptors, aiming to engage the community through enjoyable and informative classes and presentations. Vicki hopes to establish a sanctuary dedicated to providing care for senior, retired, and injured falconry raptors in the future.

Kendall Gardner

CA State-Licensed
General-Class Falconer

Kendall is an inspiring example of youth and passion in the world of falconry. Starting her journey at the young age of 12, she harnessed her enthusiasm for hawks and turned it into a dream of becoming a falconer. Her mother, Vicki, recognized her daughter's ambition and joined her, fostering a unique bond as they navigated the art of falconry together.

As Kendall looks to the future, she is majoring in zoology, focusing on a career that integrates her love for birds of prey and animal training. Her aspirations include working with raptors for falconry-based pest abatement, showing her commitment to both the art of falconry and the practical applications of her skills.
